Peter is Phoenix Development Partners’ Director of Capital Markets, focused on raising debt and equity for all Phoenix’s projects. A team member since 2017, Peter brings more than 40 years of experience in real estate at firms such as Cushman & Wakefield and Heitman, as well as Rock Equities, LLC (Michigan), which he co-founded. He has transacted in multiple asset classes with aggregate value in excess of $6B. His practice has been in both traditional and non-traditional capital structures for debt and equity, including transactions in the public realm with HUD/221d4, TIF, FNMA, Freddie Mac, Public Finance and Development Authorities, c-Pace Equity and public grant opportunities. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Peter extends service to others by mentoring undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate professionals, as well as volunteering with his church and participating in service opportunities throughout the Americas. Peter lives with his wife in Evanston, IL, and they can often be found trying new restaurants downtown with one, or all, of their three adult sons.
